Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Performance
It seems that the company devoted all its attention to the creation of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro since it has not improved almost anything in the hardware aspect of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5. The smartphone includes the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor found in Redmi Note 4.
The smartphone offers a balanced and efficient performance. It managed to do the most job quite efficiently, be it gaming, multitasking or using heavy apps. It did not lag or slow during any of the tasks. The processor is not that great as the Snapdragon 636, but it is for a budget smartphones.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Camera
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 offer similar camera specifications as the Redmi Note 4. The smartphone sports a 12MP rear camera with dual step LED flash and a 5MP front shooter with selfie Light.
However, the Xiaomi has changed a few things in the camera section. The rear camera of Redmi Note 5 features a 12MP trigger with a pixel size 1.25um pixels and f/2.2 aperture. With proper light or daylight, smartphone managed to make some great shots. On the other hand, the images captured in the macro mode also turned out to be good with color reproduction and appropriate detail.
The camera manages to focus quickly on the subject and it also captures the moving aim with ease. Some graininess and noise will be encounter when used in low-sparkle. The larger pixel size manages to capture more light but with the absence of electronic stabilization some shots turned out to be blurry.
Talking about the front camera, the smartphone offers a 5MP shooter with selfie flash for capturing low-light selfies. The front camera comes with f/2.0 it captures good selfies in daylight. The low- light images turn out to be good at some time.
The device is capable of recording HD quality videos which is fine for the smartphone for this price segment.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is a good smartphone in the price bracket of Rs 9,999. However, the smartphone is surely not the right choice for those who have Redmi Note 4. As apart from the larger display and some tweaks in the design, there is nothing new that the phone offers when compared to Redmi Note 4. However, for buyers with a budget of Rs 10,000, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is a good bet. However, anyone who has even slightly higher budget should go for Redmi Note 5 Pro.
